Mt Buller

Buller was another big weekend, and a repeat of the suffering from a week earlier. Unfortunately it looks like i have slightly overdone it towards the end of this big block and my form has been down a little bit. Having said that, the main focus is still on the world cups later in the year, so it is not surprising.

I ended up 11th in Saturday's XC race, which was held in extremely hot conditions. That track was quite fun in sections, and quite raw, rocky and dusty. There were some brutal climbs though and after 5 long laps i was happy to see the end. The biggest new was Cooper's sensational ride to get to within a second of Chris Jongeward. I think he is the only one who has been able to step to Blood on a mtb this year, well done Coops.

I am going to hang the bike up for a week and then turn my focus towards building it back up again the Oceania's - then overseas.
